Yeah it's been extremely weird. I've had this once, and have been running tests using VPNs locally, hoping to catch something in debug mode... but alas, I have not had one yet. When you do report back, be curious to know who the host is
This has been something I've been looking into. I can't say anything yet, as the culprit is always something different. But, we're on it. I'll go ahead and move it to WIP.
Actually, this issue has been fixed already with one of our updates some time ago.
Yeah so that warning means nothing. It's a Unity warning that we can't do anything about sadly. It's saying that because the server doesn't use a GPU at all, so even a 1x1 texture would be too much for it. It's weird but... have to live with it for now.
We've been talking about this internally.
Yeah Space and Riamus spoke best about it; it was not an easy decision and there was a lot of number crunching and theorycrafting going on. But, it was deemed impossible. In fact, the old console version was running at near max memory, hence the lack of stability while playing split screen (been...
Hi, those sort of requests go to the employment area in the main website. Even if you're not seeking employment, go ahead and do it and note what you wish to do.
There's been some work done on Linux but there are some nasty issues that came up with kernel updates. We have been looking into memory issues for Linux, if you're still having issues, try Proton for now. It's not ideal but with the Windows emulation the memory issue isn't an issue
Hi, what I'm figuring what's going on is (and why it's sudden) is port forwarding. If you don't forward ports, then it's sort of a guessing game where, if, and when the data is received/transmitted, and that delay can cause the host to kick off the client for not responding. Port forwarding...
Hi, unfortunately for consoles that feature had to be cut. The feature you're looking for is dynamic mesh which handles that; consoles did not have enough CPU power and enough memory to handle it and there wasn't any way to optimize it in any meaningful way. I could be wrong, but it may render...
Huh, yeah that is an interesting idea. Would require a lot of work on Discord's end. An issue I can see with that though is the somewhat common issue of people falling for the various scams and getting their Discord account stolen
Yeah it was an unfortunate thing that happened back then. I was part of it as a player like you back on the xbox one/ps4 🙁. But, in all honesty, the ps4/xbone really couldn't handle much more update wise anyway hardware wise; the new version that's out now is the same as PC and will receive the...
Well, I know 3 people that have had tons of driver issues and a close friend that gave up on his AMD with me and him trying to fix driver issues and he returned the card, while I've had zero nvidia issues with 6 cards... so try again before trying to fanboy stuff. Just speaking truths to save...
Yeah we're aware and working on it. Linux updated kernels and sadly caused some chaos for the game. For now, I picked one of the Protons and it gave my linux setup a decent boost.
Ah okay that makes more sense then with Telnet, but it definitely is very... unusual from what I see in the logs. Telnet can be sniffed which could lead to credential stealing. But, more likely it's a case of an EAC bypass exploit, which would be on EAC. Sadly, as I said, no anti cheat is...
