Bro, yall need to give us a ■■■■ timer already
Yes. I remembered about seeing the barrier whenever taking up a workstation for a short time but forgot that there was a switch on the LCB to activate it.

Yes. I remembered about seeing the barrier whenever taking up a workstation for a short time but forgot that there was a switch on the LCB to activate it.
I got my Steam Machine on Monday and installed 7 Days to Die on it and the pop up asking if I wanted to enable discord integration came up when I booted up the game for the first time. Seems like it is still active.
Hmmm....doesn't the bloodmoon horde pyramid over the trader wall pretty easily? Seems like tall building would continue to be the safer option. I get zombies inside the trader compound from time to time during the daytime just from 3-4 bunching together outside.
But what would happen if TFP made a mistake and either didn't update the version number or missed to deliver the new third digit of the version number to steam so steam thinks this is the same version? When we don't know where the bug is it makes sense to check even basic assumptions if they...
I am hoping for the headshot finisher mode also applying to bee swarms :ROFLMAO:
Ah okay. But then the LCB is the wrong template as the border is not shown all the time when you set down an LCB
How is something you see only when pressing a button helping with **reminding** players of something they forget? Who is reminding them to press the button?
steam often does shader-updates as well. Instead of everyone guessing what that update was about and speculating wildy you should ask that admin exactly what version his client has now, which version his server has now. No guessing or assuming please, he should look at the version number on...
Good points. Though to be fair there is support for mods, it just isn't coming from the developer of the base game, it is the developer of the mod. Because of this mods in active development should be prefered
I would recommend limiting qualities for crafting, even down to max 1. It would make it possible to craft an M60 early, but that M60 would likely be worse than a quality 4 to 6 tactical assault you could loot and likely have upcycled with magnitude bonusses.
Genie is out of the bottle on that one at this point. They already have a section for quests and making quest failure more or less forgiving is entirely in line with all the other options in this game. I don't like hand-holding and adding a timer and/or making a distinctive red wall is...
Seems to me that this is akin to wanting an "extra life" in case you might die which the game already provides. I don't see anything wrong with a timer, or a more visible wall for people moving at vehicle speeds but I also don't see anything wrong with "ironman" mode for quests where if you make...
What makes you think Kalen and I use custom settings?
I am very sure this is already the case. I have a bedroll down and I can choose to respawn near my death location. It may be possibly that an option prevents this in your case or a server setting
Rarely? I would say it is the other way round: The majority of the new sandbox options is not a new feature as well and needed only xml changes to work. And xml does need neither multiplayer sync (because it gets already synced no matter how new it is) nor a server config. It surely needs UI...
An interesting questions here would be: Does turning it off again after 3.0.0 switched it on actually disable discord integration or is the setting broken completely?
In my MP game with a friend we have only ~2 honey in the base and one apiary (and I think just found bees wax for a second). I don't know the day but I as INT player just got the ability to build motorbike and still can't build a chem station. And since we started this game a long time ago...
Oh, so you have the theory that when more option requests are posted TFP is forced to implement more options? Just like in concress elections where the more people vote and the more people are nominated they have to put more chairs into the congress hall, right? ;)
But shouldn't the decay be the same for all players? Because it is the block that is decaying its protection after all.
Good to know. I realize my case was purely anecdotal so it’s good to get feedback from someone running a server at 8 or fewer people that has experienced it. In my case we all start together, all do the starting tutorial, and the first digging quest so it never has come up.
We’re transparent about all the rules you need to follow here. So unless your fix involves e.g. pirating the game or breaking the law, feel free to share.
Sounds like 4 people to me if the server is adhering to the max supported player count. If 50% really is a lot of people then the problem may very well be a side effect of going beyond what is supported. >shrug< My group is 3 of us on a server and we’ve never once experienced a bug where we...
I did. And my question still stands about whether most of the issues he faces is rooted in running 50 slot servers. That is a valid question especially since bug reports are supposed to be made while running vanilla and a 50 person game of 7 Days to Die has 42 toppings poured on top of that...
They should make it so the Santa hat always appears with the coal.
I’m with you brotha! I’ve been advocating for it as an option as well in the developer chat. They’ve never outright said “that’s impossible!” or “never again!” So there’s still a chance— and not just a Floyd Christmas chance either lol. The gore blocks were not really removed due to lag since...
What? That they might need to gather a few rocks and craft a new LCB to pick up their workstations? For most players, a de-synced LCB isn’t going to remove their protection from 39 other random strangers who want to rob them and kick over their sandcastle.
It may desync in exactly the same way but would it desync at all with fewer than 8 players? You’ve got 40 players and if many of them have turrets, drones, claim blocks, vehicles, etc is that not going to strain the limits of the game? I admit my technical knowledge isn’t the best but I do...
Coo coo coo coo coo cool!
My question is how many of the listed server issues are directly related to exceeding 8 players and needing to police dozens of strangers who are playing in competition with each other. The devs have priorities that are based on keeping the game stable for its intended use which is primarily...
Especially since that boat has sailed. They’ve already started developing new options based on the feedback and suggestions they’ve collected. I don’t know when they will release them but they aren’t waiting to do so.
Too bad it’s not your thread. What you want is what we call “going off-topic” If you’ll take the time to read the title and OP of the thread, you’ll see that it was initiated as a suggestion thread and we should keep the thread focused on that. Start your own thread for the topic you want and...
I’m on an Intel iMac (Retina 5k, 27-inch, 2019) and have been experiencing this since before 3.0. It only occurs with the Metal renderer. So as a workaround, you can start the game launcher and select the OpenGL renderer. OpenGL independently has its own problems though, so I’d really like to...
Yes, we decided some time ago to accommodate all languages, so please don’t instruct users to limit themselves to English. However, I don’t see a problem if someone wants to post an English translation of a post for the convenience of English readers, who for the foreseeable future will remain...
Thank you all. I’ve updated the pinned “How to report an issue” thread to include the log location for Mac and Linux.
7 Days to Die players: we want your input! Bandits are in development, and we would like you to tell us what you expect and what would make this update work. The survey is anonymous, open to everyone, and takes about 15 minutes. It will be open until June 28th. Please share your thoughts with...
The existing brightness setting does affect daytime. Arguably not enough to matter, but it’s there. This is brightness at 0% versus 100% with the Metal renderer.
Hey Survivors! The V3.0 Experimental Release is live now! Here is how you participate: Right click on the game in steam Click on properties Click the “Game Versions & Betas” tab The drop down menu will have latest_experimental available <— you want THAT Select that and wait for the game to...
Hey survivors, In last week’s dev stream, Rick talked about the importance of player feedback for the 3.0 Dead Hot Summer update. So along with the Experimental build going out today, we have something else new and exciting for you: a player survey to help us understand what you think about...
The first time the player uses this station, I think they should earn an achievement named C-C-C-COMBO MAKER.
I’ll pull back the curtain a bit. Streamers were given access to a build before the event, with strict rules not to post any content before the event began. This is normal. It’s done so that they can plan and prepare their streams to create the best content possible (download the build, generate...
Freeform feedback on the forum is fine (say that three times fast!), but there’s a player survey in the works. I haven’t seen it yet but the plan is for it to go live on Monday alongside 3.0.0 Experimental. I’ll make sure to link to it on the forum.
Release notes added to top post. :)
Hey Survivors, The V3.0 Dead Hot Summer Update (Experimental opt-in) will be released for Windows/Mac/Linux on Monday, June 15th. That means the 3.0 Streamer Weekend Event will begin THIS FRIDAY, June 12th at 12 PM CST. As with the last event, we will coordinate with the streamers through...
Thread cleaned up. As a reminder, the 3.0 dev diary is for discussing the features & content of the 3.0 update, and other topics developers choose to discuss. Some recent discussion got off that topic, and has been removed. It was also suggested to start a new discussion thread for tonight’s...
Just like we’ve shared our favorite seeds for random world generation in past releases, it’ll be cool to share your Sandbox Codes for V3.0, which define all the gameplay settings you’ve picked. For example, I may still dial mine in more over time but here’s what I’m using...
No offense Jugg, but over the past 2-3 years AMD drivers have had a much better track record than Nvidia's. The old addage about AMD drivers sucking died a few years after AMD purchased ATI and they re-wrote the framework. You are correct though about using DDU to remove all GPU drivers and...
No, saves are not compatible between console and PC. Even if you could copy the files, the format has to be different for the console.
TellTale is no more. You are a few years behind the news here. They went fully bankrupt as a result of their shady business practices, and no longer exist. You purchased a game that was sold as a finished product. Not something that was still continuing to develop. Basically, you got what you...
Aside from the issues with Sony/MS approving any modification to the client, you also have to consider that the console hardware is already barely capable of playing the base game. In the case of the pathetic Series-S, it doesn't even meet the minimum hardware specs to play, which is why there...
There are two pinned threads you should have looked at before starting your post here. First is the Support FAQ, which covers issues like this. The second tells you how to report an issue.
No cloud sync. The saves exceed most of Steam's metrics in size and complexity. Your only hope would be retrieving from the Recycle Bin, or maybe recovery programs.

Check your gamestage. That is what determines the groups of zeds you get for bloodmoon. Also note that there is a hard cap at 30 zeds alive at once thanks to the underpowered console hardware.
It looks like a corrupted preference setting. Likely something stored in the registry. Open the game launcher, choose Tools, click the button for "Clean game data", and then tick the box for "Game settings". Afterwards, click the "Clean" button at the bottom. Since you have already locally...

At a loss to tell you what is going wrong without having logs. There is a Pinned thread in this section that tells you to read it before starting a thread. I would suggest reading it thoroughly, and following the instructions. Logs from both your client and server when this occurs would be needed.
PS is for the PlayStation. I changed the tag for you.
I would suggest reading some of the Pinned threads. You don't have a connection to EoS. Either it is a networking issue, or you are offline, and need to set Steam to being offline.
8. Read the Pinned instructions on how to report an issue, and post the log.
Only those currently active in the game session. If a PC is hosting, you could look in the logs from that game session to find that user ID and ban them. Password is the best choice long-term though. As for dedicated server managers, they are Pinned in the Multiplayer section. They aren't...
