The community mods hub on Curbolt is live: upload your own 7 Days to Die mods, get an author page, and receive votes from other players. This is not the same as our Curbolt modlets — those are small add-ons we publish; the community hub is for full mods. Curbolt does not replace Nexus Mods — many authors simply mirror their mods here as an additional channel.
What you need
- A Curbolt account (free, e.g. Google sign-in)
- Your mod as a ZIP file (standard mod layout with
ModInfo.xml) - Optional: screenshots, icon, DE/EN description, Nexus or GitHub source link
How to submit
- Go to Submit mod and sign in.
- Fill in title, game version (e.g. V3.1) and category.
- Upload your ZIP — optionally add screenshots and tags.
- Submit. Your mod will show as Pending review first.
Note: We usually review submissions within 24–48 hours. You can still edit mods while they are pending.
What we accept
- 7DTD mods as ZIP (overhauls, QoL, UI, content, translations — anything that helps players)
- QoL, UI, gameplay, overhauls, translations — anything that helps players
- Mods with a Nexus source: add the source URL; Curbolt hosts the mirror
What we reject
- Malware or stolen content without rights
- Pure advertising without a working mod package
- Duplicates without added value
Why Curbolt?
- DE + EN audience alongside tools, map and guides
- Author page, upvotes, comments and collections
- Integration into the Curbolt mod hub (version, tags, dependencies)
- No paywall, no exclusivity required
