7 Days to Die V3.4.0 B9 Stable: Hotfix for MP crashes & slot locks

TFP has shipped hotfix B9 for V3.4.0 Stable on all platforms. Focus: multiplayer crashes from shared quests started before V3.4.0, and locked inventory slots that unlocked again after closing the inventory.

Context: Right after V3.4.0 Stable (inventory search & trader drone recovery), shared pre-V3.4.0 quests were a critical MP breaker. The earlier workaround (turn off Auto-Party / Auto Share Quests, delete old shareable quests from the log) should no longer be needed with B9.

Note: Put clients and dedicated servers on the same Default Public build and restart. Back up offline worlds and mods first.

What B9 fixes

• Shared quests from before V3.4.0: sharing those quests no longer causes multiplayer crashes / issues.
• Inventory locks: locked slots stay locked after you close the inventory.
• Localization: duplicate localization file issues fixed.

What you should do

1. Wait for (or manually check) the Steam/console update
2. Dedicated: stay on Default Public (V3.4.0), then restart the server
3. Keep clients and server on the same build — or nobody can join

Known issues (per current notes)

• Possible NRE when generating chunk decorations (new games only)
• Euthanizer perk triggers but does not work
• Item sell number might not display correctly
• Unable to consume items from the Campfire — transfer them to the backpack first
• Mac: unable to join P2P or a server when the client language is French
• Mac: changing Language options in macOS can freeze the game (exception / force quit)

Small patch, big relief for co-op and inventory locks — update and keep surviving.
