TFP has shipped a small Experimental update for 7 Days to Die V3.2.0: build B9. The patch mostly polishes the Combine Station, fixes stuck trader progression, and resolves a quest failure in cave_05.
Note: The big V3.2.0 features (honk-to-open trader doors, Combine UI, server-pushed custom POIs, etc.) were covered in the existing B6 news. This article lists only what changed since B6.
How to opt into Experimental
- In Steam, right-click 7 Days to Die → Properties
- Open the Game Versions & Betas tab
- Select latest_experimental and wait for the download
Steam build: 24825765 (branch latest_experimental). Experimental can be buggy — back up saves if you care about them.
Changelog V3.2.0 B9
Changed
- Combine Bench: new completion sound when combining items.
Fixed
- Trader progression could get stuck.
- cave_05: quest could fail because of quest boundaries inside the POI.
- Combine Station: overlapping UI text.
Quick notes for Curbolt players
- If you use the new Combine Station, B9 gives clearer UI and finish feedback — see our Item Magnitude overview.
- The trader progression fix applies to all traders — profiles for Rekt, Joel & co.: Trader database.
- Dedicated servers and modlets: stay on latest_experimental only when every client runs V3.2.0. Stable remains V3.1.0 Henpocalypse.
Happy combining — and honk carefully at Rekt’s door.
