The Fun Pimps have released V3.2.0 EXP, the latest Experimental update for 7 Days to Die. The new build introduces several new features, improvements to the Combine Station, and a range of gameplay, server, and stability fixes.
The most unusual addition is undoubtedly the ability to open trader doors using your vehicle's horn. At the same time, the Combine Station has received a redesigned interface that makes combining items clearer and more intuitive.
Trader Doors Can Now Be Opened With Your Horn
Honk honk!
With V3.2.0, players can now use their vehicle horn to open the outer doors of trader compounds. The doors will respond when a vehicle honks nearby, although not every entrance is large enough to accommodate every vehicle.
An on-screen message will indicate when the player is close enough to interact with a trader door by honking.
The interiors of Trader Rekt, Hugh, and Joel have also been updated with dedicated doors that do not react to vehicle horns, preventing unintended interactions inside trader areas.
Combine Station Gets a Visual Overhaul
The Combine Station has received a redesigned interface intended to make the entire combining process easier to understand.
Players can now more clearly see what the resulting item will look like and which final statistics it will have after combining.
A new plus icon indicates that an item has previously been combined using the Combine Station.
Additionally, players must now press a dedicated button to confirm the combination, helping prevent accidental item combinations.
More Gameplay and Server Improvements
V3.2.0 also includes numerous smaller improvements. New buff icons have been added for chicken stress events, while sleeper spawn visibility checks have been optimized when players are far away.
Custom POIs are now pushed from the server to clients using a minimal metadata package, improving the way custom world content is handled in multiplayer environments.
The loot system has also received several adjustments. When Crop Yield is set to "None", cotton can now appear in junk loot. The general trader inventory has also been updated to provide a chance of finding cotton.
Auto turrets have received additional restrictions: they no longer support stability and can no longer be placed on walls.
