7 Days to Die V3.1.0 B13 Experimental: Chicken fixes, trader feed & Solar Cells

TFP has shipped a new Experimental update for 7 Days to Die V3.1.0: build b13 (after b11). It’s a small weekend patch focused on chicken-coop fixes, trader inventory, and a few survival QoL tweaks.

How to opt into Experimental

  2. Open the Game Versions & Betas tab
  3. Select latest_experimental and wait for the download

Note: Experimental can be buggy. Back up saves via Manage Saves before switching if you care about them.

Changelog V3.1.0 B13

Added

  • Discord: Button to unlink your account when login fails (e.g. if you lost access to that Discord account).

Changed

  • Trader inventories can now stock chicken feed, with a higher chance at Trader Rekt.
  • Economic value set on chicken feed.
  • Zombies can now target and chase rabbits and chickens.
  • V3.1.0 localization support implemented.
  • Rare chance to find Solar Cells in loot — useful when trader options are turned off.

Fixed

  • Chicken Coop sounds
  • Jumping while holding a chicken no longer stresses it out
  • Chicken stress no longer transfers from player to player
  • Discord: could not link on a second system if already linked elsewhere
  • Celebration sandbox setting no longer blocks shared XP
  • Dragging a chicken into the coop did not clear the stress buff

Quick notes for players

  • Chicken farming stays the heart of Henpocalypse (V3.1) — b13 polishes stress, sounds, and coop handling.
  • No-trader playthroughs now have a backup path to Solar Cells via loot.
  • Rekt is more useful for feed restocks — see our Trader Rekt profile.
  • Re-check Sandbox / preset codes from earlier V3.1 EXP builds if needed (day/night density & respawn since Henpocalypse): Server Config generator.

Have a fun weekend — and watch your chickens. The zombies will.
